I spend the last week with the RDTA Box Mini by IJoy.
This product was send to me directly by IJoy to take a closer look and give my opinion.
So let me tell you what I think about this little all in one Box.

Optic and build quality
As soon as I opened the Box I was impressed by the good look of the RDTA Box Mini.
I love the combination of black, yellow and the carbon fiber.
The awesome engraved topcap of the RDTA section gives the RDTA Box Mini a very exquisite look.
When you take it in the hand you also don’t get disappointed.
It has a pleasant weight and the carbon fiber foil has a grippy texture which doesn’t slip that easy through your hand.
The Display is great!
It is big shows you the most important details and is easy to use. Just great!
Also a very nice gimmick is the light which lights up the small window of the tank, for you to see how much Liquid you have left.
If you don’t want your mod to light up you sure can turn that feature off.
Is there a downside?
Yeah, kind of. Due to the size and compactness the tank is inside the BoxMod.
To clean it you need to unscrew the 4 screws on the top and take the tank out.
So that is definitely something to consider.
But if you don’t change your Liquid every day and only need to clean the tank 1-2 times a month, that shouldn’t be a problem.

Use, Build and Taste
Because of the compact size the RDTA Box Mini is the perfect Box for the go.
So the last couple of days the RDTA Box Mini was my Outside-Buddy. 😀
The RDTA Box Mini has a built-in 2600mAh Li-Po battery. Sounds little but managed to bring me over the day and still have charge.
Sure it depends if you vape at the max Watt output of 100 Watt or at 40-50 Watt like I do.
But i guess you are not looking for a Cloudchase-Box when you are interested in the RDTA Box Mini. 😀
The 6ml tank also should be more than enough to bring you over the day.
So how does it taste?
I started the first day with the build in pre-maid coil, which has 0.25 Ohm and goes from 30-60W. It is a simple dual coil build.
It was not bad and if you never used a real dripper or dual Clapton build I guess you would love the taste.
Unfortunately, I’m a dripper spoiled person and after 5min went immediately to the box and picked up the rebuildable section of the RDTA Box mini.
In the box are also 2 Clapton Coils included which every time puts a smile in my face. 😀
The velocity style RDTA-deck also pleased me.
I wicked the coils and screw them into the tank. Here it is important that you leave the cotton ends long and thick enough so the tank doesn’t leak when you lay it on the side.
Like you can see in the picture the Size of the coils and also the chamber size increases drastically. The taste of the RDTA Box Mini increases by the same scale. 😀
If you prefer to use pre-made coils, because its easier, never use a self made build, you will never wan’t to go back.
So with the dual Clapton build in it the taste was almost as good as in my big RDA’s.
So I definitely was satisfied with the vapor production and taste, that I didn’t feel the need to take an other Vape with me.
Conclusion
I enjoyed using the RDTA Box Mini.
Most people I tried to convince to switch to vaping were intimidated by the big mods I’m carrying around.
They are used to carry a pack of cigarettes and a lighter.
There are this small pen vapes around, which we all know are not the real deal. 😀
So here we have a product which is even smaller than a cigarette pack and gives almost the same result as the big toys.
Sounds awesome?
And it is….
You get a really well made all in one Boxmod.
Later you even can build and wick it with you own coils and get out the full potential of this little power pack.
Sure…
You can’t change the battery, but for many people which don’t know anything about battery safety this might even be better. 😀
If you are looking for a compact Setup but don’t want to loose to much performance this Mod is the right choose for you.
